Thank you for your interest in joining the Stash Quilts Blog Ring. From time to time, we do accept new members to the ring. In order to be considered for addition to the ring, please read over the following requirements. Never would I want to prescribe how or what anyone can write on your blog. It will always be your own blog - you write what you desire and you own it but, in order to be considered for the ring, and in order to stay in the ring, the following criteria must be met and adhered to:
- You must have been blogging at least weekly for at least 3 months prior to submitting your blog.
- You must post at least one blog entry per week related to your stashbusting efforts. Most any quilt related post can work for this requirement.
- No debate or criticism of religion. This does not mean that you cannot say that you attend the Methodist church every Sunday or that you donate through the local Catholic Charities. This does not mean that you cannot mention your church activities. This means that you cannot say one religion is better than another or one religion is right and another is wrong. Please think about what you're writing. If someone said about your religion or beliefs whatever you're thinking about saying, would that hurt your feelings or make you angry? If so, then please don't say it.
- Same thing about politics. This doesn't mean that you can't remind us to vote or remind us to pray for our leaders but it does mean that you cannot make fun of one party/candidate/elected official. Please remember that for every one who dislikes one official, there's someone else out there who loves him/her. And, please think about how you would feel if the things you're going to say would be said about your party/person. How would you feel?
If at some point, you wish to no longer maintain your blog, or if you feel you cannot meet the criteria outlined above, please let me know and I can either inactivate or remove your blog from the ring.
Still want to be considered as a member of the blog ring? Go here and fill out the form. Please send me an email and let me know you have submitted your application.
